Terms of Use

1. The Service

MimeProtect provides email security monitoring and infrastructure management tools, including DMARC, SPF, DKIM, MTA-STS, TLS-RPT, DANE, and DNSSEC monitoring, reporting, and hosted services.

2. Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@mimeprotect.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 18 years old to use MimeProtect.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service's infrastructure
• Use the service to send spam or facilitate phishing
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written consent
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you submit to MimeProtect. We process your data solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

You grant us a limited licence to use your data as necessary to operate the service, including storing DNS records, processing DMARC reports, and generating insights.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices are listed on our website and may change with 30 days' notice.

Free trials do not require payment details. At trial end, your account reverts to the free plan unless you subscribe.

Refunds are provided at our discretion. Contact us if you believe you're entitled to one.

6. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Paid plans include an SLA as specified on our pricing page.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We'll provide at least 30 days' notice before discontinuing core functionality.

7. Intellectual Property

MimeProtect and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Pragmatic Builders Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

MimeProtect integrates with third-party services (Stripe, Slack, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.

We're not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pragmatic Builders Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pragmatic Builders Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time through your account settings.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for violation of these terms, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or through the service.

Continued use of MimeProtect after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
